Company's history JSC "Ukrainian Radio Systems"(trade mark WellCOM) was created in 1995. In 1997 March, JSC "Ukrainian Radio Systems" won GSM-900 tender for launching mobile communication network in Ukraine. It was our company who made the first in Ukraine testing call in GSM-900 standard. On the 1-st of October 1998 JSC "Ukrainian Radio Systems" launched GSM-900 mobile network under the name of "WellCOM" (that is abbreviation from English "well" and "communication"). To be a high quality provider of mobile communications services in Ukraine, WellCOM is placing great emphasis on both winning and retaining its customers through the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction.
WellCOM drives our product and services implementation basing on extensive market research, so new products and services introduced in line with market demand and technical development. Technical capacity of WellCom network guarantees the biggest extension of indoor coverage and the least communication breakage. WellCOM's view of service quality includes not just the technical network quality, but also wider aspects of quality such as value-added features, customer services, attractive pricing, distributors' network development, etc. During one year since the commercial launch of the WellCOM network, the company has introduced all necessary value added mobile communication services and International roaming with more than 40 countries. The Company offers tariff package without subscription fee (Welcome Class) for low volume users, the most democratic tariff package featured by low subscription fee and low air-time charges (Favorite Class), tariff package with round-the-clock off-peak time charges (Millennium Class), tariff package with 1000 free incoming minutes (Premium Class) tailored for high-volume users, special loyalty program for our active subscribers Bonus Club (Bonus Club) . On the 1-st of March 2004 the number of subscribers overcame 40000. The company's priority for the nearest future is expansion of network to other regions of Ukraine.
